"Chief Griffin" Firing Range

Marion Police Firing Range

We are very proud of our firing range facility which was built entirely by donations from the Marion community . The range was named after Chief John Griffin for his many years of service and dedication to the City of Marion. The building houses a large class room complete with video training aids as well as a full kitchen and gender friendly restrooms which are also handicap accessible. The building also houses a large and very comfortable conference room. The range itself can accommodate 20 shooters on the firing line which starts at the 3 yard line for close combat training and continues 7, 15, 25 back to the 50 yard line. A long rifle and shotgun range is presently under construction.
